Hoopa 1

Hoopa came into our lives as a 5½–6-month-old rescue while we were watching our son play high school football on a freezing day in the 30s with snow on the ground, on an Indian reservation. We named her Hoopa after the city where she was found, never imagining she would become such a special part of our family for the next 15 years.

She grew up in a family of six with two cats and has always been my loyal shadow, wanting to go wherever I go. Hoopa loves beaches, lagoons, camping, lakes, car rides, airplane travel, and simply being with her family. She is gentle, easygoing, affectionate, and friendly with everyone—she doesn’t know the difference between a stranger and a friend because she believes everyone is a friend she hasn’t met yet. ❤️

After losing one of our beloved cats at 17, Hoopa welcomed our puppy Tala into her life when Tala was only 8½ weeks old. Today, Hoopa is not only our loyal companion and adventure buddy, but also Tala’s loving older sister. 🐾 ❤️
