Winter, Zoe, and Obie 1

I’ve never done anything quite like this before, but I thought, why not? I’ve read a few of Cesar’s books, and I truly believe he has made a meaningful difference in the world and in the way people understand and connect with animals. So I decided to take a chance and enter this contest.

I have no idea where it will lead or if anything will come from it, but sometimes you simply have to put your story out there. Animals have an incredible way of teaching us lessons about love, patience, loyalty, forgiveness, and living in the moment. When I look back at the little ones who have come into my life, I realize that loving and caring for them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. In so many ways, I thought I was taking care of them—but they were teaching and caring for me, too.
