Gabby

Gabby is a lab/collie mix from ACAC. She is fifteen years old which is much older than the usual age of both the breeds she is mixed with. She is my soul dog. She was brought to ACAC with her siblings by the man who owned the mother because he could not care for them. When she bounded into the waiting room as happy as can be on her leash at nine weeks, I knew she was the one. She has been with me through my teenage and part of my adult years. Through multiple moves including from Fort Wayne to Fishers, all of high school, a breakup, surgery, mental health issues, and general life she has been there. She wad always grab a toy to show it off to me while waddling up to me happily as she made a wooing sound whenever I would come home from work, high school, or college. She once ate an entire rack of raw ribs off the kitchen counter while my family and I were out with zero regret. She wanted to be friends with everyone she met and loved the baby bunnies who would pop up every spring.
