Dixie Lou

When Hurricane Ida tore through Louisiana, it left behind destruction, heartbreak, and countless animals searching for a second chance. One of them was a one-year-old girl who would become my Dixie Lou. ❤️ I rescued her, and she went from a scared little hurricane survivor to the only girl between two rescued boys, becoming our sweet, sassy middle child and a constant reminder that sometimes, the most beautiful stories can rise from the aftermath of a storm. 🐾❤️
