Savvy

Savvy came to me when he was 4 years old. He has been deaf since birth but it certainly doesn't keep him from communicating. I quickly learned ways and means to communicate with him as he did with me. He's very vocal! I think he feels that the vibration is him communicating. He also has some very funny quirks! Even though he's deaf, somehow he knows every time I turn the hair dryer on and he runs in and sits on the toilet and I have to blow his hair as well as mine! He also likes sitting in any kind of pot or dish. Not sure where that came from! When he first came he was understandably very frightened but now he's so comfortable he lies around on his back .
