Sara was one day away from being put down by her previous owners, when I stumbled across their Craigslist ad. After talking to them, I hurried to their home and picked her up. That was 13 years ago and she's never left my side. Through good times and bad times, Sara listens and answers with her paws running across my arms or face. She'll get up and lay across my neck to sleep or will lay by my side when I'm feeling sad. She can not tolerate a door closed in-between us so there never is. When I wake up in the morning she's curled around my head. We have 3 other dogs, a German shepherd, Australian shepherd and a pomeranian. They all know she's the boss and she's not afraid to remind them. She's very protective of me as I am her.
