Miss Velvet

I adopted velvet 2 years ago when she was 7 years old, she had been in the shelter for 6 months. Her previous owners we're moving and they couldn't keep her where they were going, so they surrendered her at the shelter.
She loves her morning breakfast, she's my alarm clock that wakes me up anywhere between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. because she wants her breakfast. She gives me morning kisses, she jumps on me, she gives me head butts, anything to wake me up, so I give in because she's just a precious baby.
I can't imagine why somebody would give her up, I'm sure it was hard, but she has her forever home now. I love my baby Velvet
