When my husband, Jim, and I visited our local animal shelter, he picked up a sweet tabby cat and meowed at her. And guess what? She meowed right back, as if she were saying hello! 🥹🐱
We didn't bring her home that day, but we couldn't stop thinking about her. Something about that little moment stayed with us. So we went back the very next day, and on September 4th, 2025, we adopted Callie. That was the day our family grew, and our hearts gained a love we never knew we were missing. ❤️
Callie is so much more than a beautiful face and adorable tabby stripes. She's cuddly, loving, funny, playful, and just a little sassy (because every queen needs some attitude! 👑). She's calm and comforting, and somehow knows how to make an ordinary day feel a little brighter.
