Meet Barney — "Barn" to his friends.
Barney is a 7-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog from Toronto, and he arrived in our lives exactly when we needed him. He was born on March 13, 2026 — five days after we lost our beloved Bernese, Ben, to cancer. We were still grieving when I reached out to a breeder, and five days later this puppy was coming home. I don't believe in coincidences. He was meant to be part of our crew.
Don't let the puppy face fool you — Barney is a funny little (big) man: vocal, opinionated, and firmly committed to letting you know when he disapproves of something, which he does by barking and kicking out his back feet like a tiny bouncer. He's the baby of a very full house.
He's full of personality, love, and puppy curiosity — and we can't wait to see the man he becomes. Vote Barn. He’d kick his feet about anything less.🐾
