Shayla 1

Shayla is our sweet and easy-going Golden Retriever. When she isn't lounging lazily around the house, she loves doing zoomies in the backyard, chasing her own tail, and making new friends. She grew up with cats for sisters, and perhaps even thinks she's one herself, considering she licks herself clean, sleeps a lot, and doesn't particularly like water. She is like a bright shadow that follows you around the house, a very loyal companion. Aside from being affectionate, she is also quite smart and eager to please, knowing things like shake, high-five, and stay. With the command "wait," she will even stop before eating her favorite treat that's put right in front of her (like apples and bananas) until we say "OK!" She also can recognize some commands through hand signals, like come, down, and stay.
