Max broke into our fenced in dog pen Thanksgiving 2024. It took a little nick of his ear doing this. My other 2 rescue dogs, a retired Greyhound and a doberman mix let him share the yard as well as good. None of them were agreed to each other. He had no chip and so I fostered him. Then I ended up adopting him. He is mostly a Lacy dog, the state dog of Texas. He's the most affectionate dog we've ever had. He sleeps between us and gets up on the couch as close as he can to my husband. He's become my emotional support dog. He really knew the right yard to break into.
